‘I Have Decided To Be Single’: Chris Brown Dumps Karrueche Tran – But Still Seeing Rihanna?

What exactly is going on with Chris Brown’s love life? Recent reports seemed to suggest that Chris Brown has split from girlfriend Karrueche Tran and now Chris has told HollywoodLife.com “I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.” But what exactly is the nature of his “friendship with Rihanna?”

On Monday (October 1, 2012), Chris Brown and Rihanna were spotted “engaging in a bathroom romp” in New York City. This, remember, was before he had publicly split with Karrueche. The following evening, they met up again; last night, they were seen at Jay Z’s gig at the new Barclays Centre, holding hands and kissing. There seems little doubt that Chris and Rhi Rhi have put their past troubles behind them and decided to give their relationship another go. Karrueche is said to have given Brown an ultimatum and is planning to move her belongings out of his home.

In 2009, Chris Brown was convicted of assaulting Rihanna and a restraining order was applied to stop him seeing her. When that order was lifted, the couple seem to have been slowly rekindling their friendship, much to the horror of many Rihanna fans who fear that he may not have changed his violent ways. After all, that Chris Brown and Drake fight isn’t such a distant memory, now, is it?
