Hustle and... Obstructing Blood Flow? Taryn Manning Arrested After Fighting With Her Make-Up Artist.

Taryn Manning, of Hustle & Flow fame, has reportedly been arrested and charged for assault and "criminal obstruction of breathing or blood flow" according to USMagazine.com, after a fight broke out between the actress and her make-up artist and good friend Holly Hartman.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the Hartman and Manning live together in Los Angeles and have been 'like family' for the past five years of friendship. The fight began in the Dream Downtown Hotel in New York on Thursday morning last week (11th Oct 2012). In a statement released to the Hollywood Reporter, Manning's spokesperson said: “There was an unfortunate incident between two very dear friends, who are like family to each other...We believe the situation at hand will be clarified and resolved between the two friends expeditiously." Hartman will apparently not be pressing charges against the actress.

Manning has had a long career as an actress, but has also made her foray into music, firstly with an electronic band Boomkat which hasn't released any new music since 2010, and also, in the release of her first solo single entitled 'Send Me Your Love' last August which reached number 9 on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart.
