HULK HOGAN Twittered his fans whilst recovering from excruciating back pains and muscle spasms in hospital, reports CNN. In a video posted on the social networking site, Hogan said he had suffered from "a major spasm from my hip all the way up the middle of my back", but confirmed that he would not be having surgery. On Tuesday 8th September 2010, the ex-wrestler's rep told CNN, "He is there because of back spasms but will be fine", and Hogan himself confirmed he was "feeling pretty good, better than yesterday", later that day.
Hogan has over 16,000 followers on Twitter and kept them updated on his progress in the Morton Plant Hospital in Florida. His girlfriend JENNIFER MCDANIEL also appeared in the videos posted online, the 34-year-old was seen wrapping herself in bed-sheets and comforting the former WWF star.
The 57-year-old, who divorced from his wife Linda in 2007, received a flurry of supportive messages in response to the videos, and signed off by thanking his legion of followers, saying, "I can't believe how kind and heartfelt the responses have been since I've been hurt and in the hospital. Thanks and I love you guys."
