Last night (February 12, 2012), Hugh Hefner 's son, Marston Hefner was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, 'Playmate of the Year' Claire Sinclair. Police were called to the home that the couple share, where Marston, 21, was arrested. A member of Claire's family had called 911 after claiming that he had assaulted her.
When the police arrived at the scene, according to Tmz, the officers found that Claire had "bruises and red marks" on her body, suggesting that there had been some kind of physical fight. A source has told the website's reporters that 20 year old Sinclair told police that her boyfriend had punched her and kicked her in the stomach, refusing to let her leave their home. Marston reportedly denied having carried out the attack, though he admitted that he & Claire had been arguing. Marston was arrested for "misdemeanour domestic violence" before being taken to a nearby police station. He was eventually released on $20,000 bail.
Marston, the eldest son of the Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, has been dating Claire Sinclair on and off since 2010. In June 2008, he was the subject of a GQ interview, in which he talked about growing up at the Playboy mansion and told his interviewer "My, like, expectancy for what girl I'm going to get is, like, so fucked-up. I've just been around really hot women my entire life, so the average high school girl won't do it for me." His father, also interviewed for the piece said "He thinks of himself as Hef junior."
