Jennifer Hudson - Hudson Beat Up Three Men

Oscar winner JENNIFER HUDSON won a day off on the set of new movie THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES after beating up three men.

The feisty Dreamgirls star spent eight hours filming a fight scene with three co-stars in the movie - and was left so battered and bruised she was ordered to take a rest day.

Hudson explains, "I had to beat them up pretty bad. One guy kept trying to walk away and I'm like, 'They didn't call cut yet, where ya going?'

"One of the guys was like, 'I didn't sign up for this. She's beating us down. She is something else. We've taken down men quicker than we've taken down this one girl.'

"That scene took eight hours to shoot over and over again. I could actually hit them for real but they couldn't hit me for real, although I got hit by accident and that made me mad, so I fought a little bit harder.

"I even have scars on my head from the scene. I felt like I jumped out of the window and hit the ground the next morning. They gave me the day off and let me rest.

"My momma's not gonna be pleased seeing me get beat up by three men."
