Houston Rep Responds To Daughter's Disappearance Reports
The I Will Always Love You legend was remembered at a private memorial service in Newark, New Jersey and hundreds of family members and friends showed up to pay their respects, among them Houston's 18-year-old daughter, mother Cissy, cousin Dionne Warwick, actor Kevin Costner, and singers Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys.
Following the funeral, reports suggested the heartbroken teenager disappeared for several hours, sparking panic among her family members, but a spokesperson for the Houstons has now explained the incident, insisting the 18 year old just needed to some time alone to reflect.
The rep tells The Daily Beast, "There was some confusion about Bobbi Kristina's whereabouts last night for a short time, but she's OK. She needed some time alone."
Houston was laid to rest on Sunday (19Feb12) at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. She was found dead last Saturday (10Feb12) in her Los Angeles hotel room bathtub.
