The hit dramas will face competition from The Good Wife and Orange is the New Black to win the prize at the London ceremony on 10 May (15).

Game of Thrones received a nomination in the public-voted Radio Times Audience Award category, which also featured nods for Sherlock, Cilla Black biopic Cilla, U.K. detective drama The Missing and U.K. soap EastEnders.

Benedict Cumberbatch landed his third Leading Actor nod for Sherlock, along with The Hunger Games star Toby Jones for Marvellous and James Nesbitt for The Missing, while Leading Actress nominees include Sheridan Smith for Cilla, Keeley Hawes (Line of Duty) and Sarah Lancashire (Happy Valley).

Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville scored a nomination in the male comedy category for his role in W1A, while Tamsin Greig (Episodes) will compete with Olivia Colman (Rev) and Catherine Tate (Catherine Tate's Nan) for the female comedy prize.

New U.S. chat show host James Corden is nominated for co-writing and starring in comedy series The Wrong Mans, which will compete with Moone Boy, created by Bridesmaids star Chris O'Dowd, for the Scripted Comedy prize.

Cilla earned a nomination for best mini-series, while Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy's drama Peaky Blinders is up for best drama series, competing with shows include Happy Valley and The Missing.
