Prince Philip - Hospitalised Duke Of Edinburgh 'Feeling A Lot Better'

Ailing British royal Prince Philip is "feeling a lot better" following his hospitalisation on Monday (04Jun12), according to his son Prince Edward.
The Duke of Edinburgh was forced to skip the star-studded Diamond Jubilee concert held outside London's Buckingham Palace on Monday night to mark his wife Queen Elizabeth II's 60-year reign due to a suspected bladder infection.
But Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, has assured fans of the royal family his dad will be back on his feet after some much-needed bed rest.
After visiting the Duke in hospital on Tuesday (05Jun12), he told reporters, "He is feeling a lot better, thank you very much indeed. I think a good rest is probably required."
Prince Philip, who turns 91 on Sunday (10Jun12), is expected to remain under doctors' care for a few more days, but he has been keeping up with the jubilee celebrations on TV.
And Prince Edward reveals his mother is "bearing up" as she continues with the special festivities, adding, "She's missing him, obviously."
The four-day U.K. public holiday (02-05Jun12) came to an end on Tuesday as the Queen waved at the crowds gathered along The Mall from an open-top carriage during a procession through the streets of London.
Earlier in the day, she and her family attended a service of thanksgiving at St. Paul's Cathedral, where the Archbishop of Canterbury paid tribute to Prince Philip, telling the congregation, "Our prayers and thoughts are very much with him this morning."
