Hop Farm Festival - Hop Farm Festival Final Acts Include Legendary Bob Dylan
After immense success last year which saw Prince's first UK festival appearance, Kent's Hop Farm Festival returns with more of the world's most talented artists.
The final acts announced include UK festival exclusives; the legendary Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel and the New Blood Orchestra and Suede. Joining them are Swedish-Argentinian folk singer Jose Gonzalez and Barclaycard Mercury Prize nominated I Am Kloot.
They will join the already diverse line-up; Damien Rice, Patti Smith, Gary Numan, Kool and the Gang, THE LEVELLERS AND PRIMAL SCREAM.
This family-friendly folk and indie festival debuted in 2008 after founder Vince Power took a survey that revealed that festival goers felt they were the lowest in importance. Hop Farm Music Festival has always prided itself on having no sponsorship or branding and welcoming children to the world of good music by having free entry for under 12s.
Ticket prices stand at a reasonable £162 for weekend tickets and £65 for day tickets; not bad considering the fantastic line-up plus all the added extras including comedy acts, indie disco, camp acoustic and a fun fair. There is no booking fee, no extra parking charge or camping charge that isn't already included in the weekend ticket charge and no charge for children.
Vince Power assures Hop Farm fans, 'I'm very happy to finalise this year's bill. We have yet again put together a unique set of acts you're not going to see repeated everywhere else'.
