Holly Valance Holding Off On Wedding Plans
Australian singer/actress Holly Valance is in no rush to marry her new fiancee, as they both want to enjoy the London Olympics and Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee celebrations this summer (12) without the stress of organising a wedding.
British property tycoon Nick Candy popped the question to the former Neighbours soap star last month (Dec11) in a romantic beach proposal, getting down on bended knee as the words "Will You Marry Me" were lit up in a special fire display.
Candy is keen to exchange vows with Valance before the end of 2012, but they're holding off on organising the ceremony so they can fully enjoy an event-packed summer in London.
He tells Britain's Mail On Sunday, "We haven't set a wedding date and we don't even know which country we are going to have it in. It will be towards the end of the year as we want to enjoy the Olympics and the Jubilee."
