Hince Chooses Music Over Money
Supermodel Kate Moss' boyfriend Jamie Hince is determined never to sacrifice his artistic integrity for financial reward - as he values making music much more than money.
The Kills star has spent his life obsessing about music, choosing to let his songs attract fans rather than opting for clever marketing or glossy advertising campaigns.
And the musician - who has shunned major record labels in favour of small independent companies - admits his musical obsession has taken over his life.
He says, "It's absurd having a life-and-death attitude about music, but that's what I have. I've shut out almost every relevant thing apart from art and music.
"Every decision I've ever made has been about music and not money, and that's why my cash card gets declined everywhere I f**king go.
