Paris Hilton - Hilton Returns To The Mtv Movie Awards

PARIS HILTON made her return to the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (31May09) - two years after the event became her last stop before jail.

The socialite turned herself into authorities and started serving four days of a 45-day sentence for violating probation immediately after leaving the MTV awards in 2007, fooling the media into thinking she would be partying after the ceremony.

The ruse allowed her to start her life behind bars quietly and without fanfare.

But, on Sunday, Hilton was back on the red carpet at the event which marked what must have been one of her lowest nights.

Joined by boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, she revealed the movie awards had a lot of memories for her - and her appearance at the 2007 event seemed like a long time ago.

She said, "It was a brutal day for me... a lot has changed."
