Hilton 'Receiving Preferential Treatment' In Jail
A double amputee African-American war veteran claims PARIS HILTON was "treated like a queen" compared to her during their stay at a Los Angeles jail.
Pamela Richardson alleges she was denied serious medical attention while incarcerated at Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California.
The 51-year-old accuses officials of humiliating her by making her crawl around without her prosthetic leg, and claims she was verbally abused and refused access to her cancer medication.
Richardson, who was detained for reasons unknown before being released without charge, also alleges a hernia she has developed was the direct result of being refused medical treatment.
Richardson says, "She's treated like a queen compared to what I got."
Her lawyer Gloria Allred adds, "When Paris was remanded to jail, she cried out, 'It's not right.' We say, about the shocking discriminatory treatment of Pamela - it's not right."
Hilton was held at the same jail before being released home last Thursday (07Jun07). The next day a judge reversed the decision to allow the socialite to complete her sentence under house arrest, and she was sent to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Downtown Los Angeles.
