Hilary Duff Sued Over 2010 Car Crash
Pop star and actress Hilary Duff has been dragged into a nasty legal spat by a motorist she allegedly left injured following a car accident in 2010.
Rachel Owens claims the new mum smashed her Range Rover into her vehicle and she has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles, requesting damages for the mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering she suffered as a result of the collision.
Owens claims multiple doctors and surgeons had to treat her for unspecified conditions, which prevented her from working.
In the papers, obtained by Tmz.com, Owens anticipates she will be "prevented from attending her usual occupation for a period of time in the future".
She is suing for unspecified damages.
