Henry Studying For A Phd

The two comics separated last October (09) after 25 years of marriage, but kept news of the the break-up private until April (10).

Henry has since embarked on a PhD program at Royal Holloway, University of London to further his education - and he's thrilled that the four-year course will mean he lands a 'Doctor' status.

He tells Britain's Daily Express, "I'm not an idiot, I never was an idiot. When I came to London everyone I met had been to university, everyone had a degree. I was really jealous, I wanted to punch people out.

"The idea of me getting a PhD is the most unlikely thing ever to be mooted by anyone in the world. It's like (Scottish comedy duo) the Krankies turning out to be rocket scientists."

Henry already holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Masters of Arts degree in screenwriting for television and film, which he studied for in recent years, after leaving school as a teenager with no formal qualifications.
