Hendrix's Voodoo Child Voted Greatest Guitar Riff
JIMI HENDRIX's track VOODOO CHILD (SLIGHT RETURN) features the greatest guitar riff of all time, according to a new poll.
The 1970 classic beat competition from Guns N' Roses song Sweet Child O' Mine and Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love, which landed the second and third slots respectively.
Deep Purple's Smoke On The Water and Layla by the Derek and The Dominos rounded out the top five in the MusicRadar.com survey.
The only guitar-led tracks from the last decade featured in the list were Muse's Plug In baby, which came in at number 11, and the White Stripes' Seven Nation Army, voted in at number 15.
