Heidi Montag - Heidi Montag Discusses 14 Hour Fitness Regime
Heidi Montag, the American reality star best known for her role on 'The Hills', claims she works out 14 hours a day in order to maintain her slender figure. The 24-year-old discussed her work-out secrets at Saturday's Las Vegas 'Wet Republic' party, reports US Weekly Magazine.
Montag, who hit the headlines in 2009 after undergoing numerous cosmetic surgeries, said, "I've been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now. I've been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape". Heidi claimed she was "a lot overweight" because of her love for "eating pie", saying, "It was the most I've ever been because I've kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape". The reality star claimed she weighed 130 pounds at her heaviest, and has now slimmed down to 103, adding, "I've been running a lot, and I've been doing weights. When you work out, you boost your metabolism, so you have to make sure you eat enough". In terms of her new diet, Montag claims to have replaced pie and fried chicken, with apples, cherries and salads.
