Members Of Metal Bands Khaotika And Wormreich Have Been Killed In A Car Crash In Jackson County, Georgia.
The rockers were on their way to a gig in Atlanta when the driver of the 15-seat vehicle they were passengers in lost control of the van, which struck a tree, throwing three people out. Those ejected were pronounced dead at the scene.
Another eight passengers were taken to area hospitals. Two are in critical condition. The driver is reportedly not among the injured.
The members of a third band, Kult ov Azazel, who were on tour with Khaotika and Wormreich but not in the vehicle that crashed, have released a statement about the tragedy, which reads: "Unfortunately tonight's show in Atlanta, GA will be canceled. The van carrying Wormreich and Khaotika was in a horrible accident this morning.
"We cannot go into details due to respect to the families of the involved and we are sure details will soon be available through the other parties when the time is right. Our thoughts are with those involved and their families."
