Heather 'To Get £70m Divorce Deal'
Heather Mills is thought to have agreed a £70 million divorce payoff with ex BEATLE Sir Paul McCartney.Heather, who split from the legendary songwriter in May last year, has been involved in a somewhat bitter row with Sir Paul over the terms of their divorce.
The former model is believed to be obtaining a £15 million lump sum, with another £3.5 million each year until the couple's three-year-old daughter Beatrice turns 18.
If confirmed, the deal would be the largest in British divorce history, although the Daily Mail has claimed it will also include a clause preventing either party discussing the causes of the breakdown in marriage.
One source told the paper: "We're extremely close to a resolution. The figures have been agreed."
However, the source added: "Heather wants her story told - she sees herself as the victim. She wants to have what she calls 'a voice'.
"She feels she should have that platform to turn around media perceptions about her."
Heather has this year enjoyed extensive media coverage on TV show Dancing with the Stars in the US, in a bid to help reverse the negative feelings of many Beatles fans.
