Hawkins In Strop After Eurovision Loss
19 March 2007Hawkins was beaten by British pop group Scooch, whose song FLYING THE FLAG (FOR YOU) was chosen as the UK entry by viewers of the BBC contest.
A source says, "He was a complete diva. He got in a right old strop because he wasn't picked."
Scooch also saw off competition from ex-East 17 singer Brian Harvey, former Atomic Kitten singer Liz Mcclarnon, London hip-hop collective Big Brovaz and solo star CYNDI to sing at the televised final in Helsinki, Finland on 12 May (07).
