Anne Hathaway - Hathaway's Ex In Plea Deal Claim

ANNE HATHAWAY's ex-boyfriend RAFFAELLO FOLLIERI will reportedly reach a plea deal on fraud charges when he appears in court on Thursday (11Sep08).

The Devil Wears Prada star split from Follieri in June (08) shortly before he was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, wire fraud, and money laundering.

And now the businessman is said to be close to reaching a deal with prosecutors to end the case.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Follieri is due to appear in a New York court on Thursday (11Sep08) and is prepared to settle the case.

Follieri is currently being held in custody as he failed to post the $21million (GBP12 million) bail set by the judge.

It is alleged he posed as a representative of the Vatican to con investors during a property deal.
