Has Labeouf gone too far? Certainly there are people like Michael Fassbender, who starved himself for the film Hunger, whilst Labeouf also looks up to famed method actors like Robert Redford and Sean Penn. These are the guys that I look up to." You do wonder at how far Labeouf will go, though, and the damage that he'll do to his body. Method acting is something to be lauded, for sure, respect must go to those willing to go so far to their art. But the danger is that he could just end up alienating everybody.
