Chris Brown - Has Chris Brown Been Doing His Community Service?
A judge is ordering an audit of Chris Brown 's community service because of discrepancies concerning the hours he has performed. The district attorney's office has requested the audit, saying the records they have received don't clearly stipulate how many hours the singer has worked or even what type of work he has done, reports the Associated Press.
The judge said that part of the issue was that the court had yet to receive detailed logs of Brown's community service, leaving them unaware of whether or not he had been completing the tasks set. The Grammy Award winner is supposed to be removing graffiti and cleaning roadsides, as well as completing other manual labor tasks. The singer's attorney did not object to the audit in court on Tuesday (July 10, 2012) and Brown has previously received glowing feedback from the judge throughout his probation. He was ordered to perform the community service for beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Brown has since completed domestic violence and anger management counselling, while apparently rekindling his friendship with the Barbadian singer.
Brown has also been ordered to appear at his next hearing, tentatively scheduled for August 21, 2012. Last month, it was reported that the police officers who allegedly leaked photographers of a beaten Rihanna to gossip site Tmz.com will not face criminal charges, though could lose their jobs at the LAPD.
