Harvey Weinstein To Make James Corden A Hollywood Star

Harvey Weinstein has vowed to make James Corden a big Hollywood star.

The film producer - who has worked on hit films 'The English Patient', 'The Reader' and 'Pulp Fiction' - has been so impressed by the 33-year-old actor's reputation in the UK that he wants to make him a big name in the US and is set to fly one of his staff over to watch his theatre production of 'One Man, Two Guvnors' in London's West End.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I want James Corden. He's brilliant.

"He's in 'One Man, Two Guvnors' that's coming to Broadway. I want someone from our team to fly over and see him.

"He's big in the UK and is going to do great things. He's got The Passion and enthusiasm to make it in Hollywood. He's a very versatile actor."

If Harvey agrees a deal with the 'Gavin and Stacey' actor then it is thought James could be lined up to appear in a Quentin Tarantino film, such as forthcoming western Drama 'Django Unchained', which would see him star alongside top Hollywood names such as Leonardo Dicaprio, Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

A source explained: "It's likely Harvey will want to sign James for one of the two new Quentin Tarantino movies he's producing.

"The first is 'Django Unchained', which will star Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson and Sacha Baron Cohen.

"The second is 'Kill Bill 3', which will star Uma Thurman and Daryl Hannah."
