Happy Feet Dances To The Top Of The UK Box Office
Animated movie HAPPY FEET has danced to the top of the UK box office, knocking last week's (06-08DEC06) number one Casino Royale to two.
The penguin cartoon, which features the voices of Robin Williams, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, took $4.42 million (GBP2.27 million) in its opening weekend (08-10DEC06).
Meanwhile, another new release THE HOLIDAY, starring Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Cameron Diaz and Jack Black, entered at three, while last week's two FLUSHED AWAY slipped down to four.
THE SANTA CLAUSE 3: THE ESCAPE moved from three to five.
