Hannah's Battle Wounds From Spartacus Drama

Scottish actor JOHN HANNAH suffered for his art while filming U.S. cable series SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND - he broke his collarbone during a fight sequence.
The Sliding Doors star battles it out with actor Andy Whitfield in the historical drama - and Hannah reveals the action scenes were authentic.
He tells Britain's The Times, "Towards the end of filming, I broke a collarbone and some ribs in a fight on set with Andy. I couldn’t do any exercise at all and I could hardly sleep from the pain."
And that wasn't the only injury Hannah sustained during the shoot: "I had an MRI scan recently when they found out that I had a prolapsed disc in my back. That happened during filming as well, but I didn’t notice it because of all the pain I was getting from my collarbone and ribs."
