Hank Williams Jr. Writes Theme Song For His Fans

ESPN's Monday Night Football may be without a Hank Williams Jr. theme song but Williams has created a theme for like-minded conservatives that has quickly been downloaded by 200,000 of them. "This country sure as hell has gone down the drain / We know what we need. We know who to blame," Williams sings. As for ESPN, which dumped him (he says he dumped them ) and Fox and Friends , which scolded him for comparing President Obama with Hitler, Williams urges his supporters to "keep Fox and Friends and ESPN out of your homes." Although some of Williams's fans have vowed never to watch Monday Night Football or buy products from its advertisers, the loss of the Williams opener did not appear to affect ratings for the football telecast, which remained last week's highest-rated television program.
