Halle Berry Signs Up For Suspense Thriller The Hive
Halle was reportedly interested in the project some time ago, when the director Joel Schumacher was involved. When Anderson signed on in January this year (2012), Berry was not signed on and cited "personal reasons" for her inability to commit. Several "top actresses" were reportedly interested in the role but Halle decided to sign up. The Hive is set in a 911 call centre and the actress will play the role of a telephone operator forced to face her own fears, in order to save a young girl from a "disturbed killer."
Robert Stein and Michael Helfant are on board as producers for the movie and they showed their eagerness for Berry to be on board, saying "Ms. Berry has always been our first choice to star in 'The Hive,' and we're thrilled that we were able to put this together in and around Los Angeles with the help of the California Tax Incentive." Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions will be handling the movie in the United States, with Sierra / Affinity taking charge overseas.| Comment on this article |
