Gwyneth Paltrow partied with her celebrity pals during a girls' night out yesterday (09.06.10).

The actress and her friends Kate Hudson, Naomi Watts and Stella Mccartney all treated themselves to a night off from their children and were spotted downing wine in Quattro at the Trump Soho before moving onto the Bowery Hotel in New York City.

An onlooker said: "The ladies were having a blast and the booze was flowing. They were all drinking red and white wine. Kate was in an especially great mood - she was laughing and giggling throughout the entire dinner. But at one point she and Naomi slipped out to have a serious heart-to-heart on the stairs outside the restaurant."

'Nine' actress Kate Hudson was overheard talking about her mother Goldie Hawn for most of the evening.

The source added to Life and Style: "Kate spent a lot of the night chatting about showbiz and her famous mom Goldie Hawn, telling her friends that Goldie is more outgoing than she is."

She is rumoured to have added: "Sometimes I just want to hide."

Gwyneth Paltrow was the first to leave and was seen making an exit around midnight - but the rest of the group continued drinking until 3am.
