Gwyneth Paltrow Lands Coldplay And Alicia Keys For Cancer Telethon
The Hollywood actress, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, is in charge of producing the upcoming Stand Up to Cancer charity event and she has already landed a star-studded guestlist for the show.
Coldplay will perform on the TV telethon along with Swift, Keys and country star Tim MCGraw, and other celebrity participants include Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Samuel L. Jackson, Emma Stone, Jessica Biel and Jeremy Renner, as well as cancer survivor Michael Douglas.
Paltrow, who lost her father to cancer in 2002, took over the role from late movie producer Laura Ziskin, who died of the disease last year (11).
Stand Up to Cancer will air in the U.S. on 7 September (12).
