Gwen Stefani - Gwen Stefani To Auction Herself For Japanese Tsunami Relief

Gwen Stefani has appealed for help from her fans in raising money to help the stricken Japanese following this month's succession of natural disasters.
Gwen Stefani has already personally donated $1 million dollars to the 'Save the Children' Japan Tsunami & Earthquake relief fund, following a similar donation by Sandra Bullock to the Red Cross. In a full statement released on NoDoubt.com on Wednesday (3/23), it was revealed that fans will have the chance to bid to join Gwen at a special fundraiser in Los Angeles. They will also be able to buy a limited edition 'Harajuku Lovers' T Shirt from the site next week. Full details will be announced this week.
The singer has cited Japanese culture as a major influence in her career as a solo artist and fashion designer. She famously employed 'Harajuku' girl backing dancers when touring her first solo album 'Love Angel Music Baby.' She said, "The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years".
Stefani is currently in the studio recording the new No Doubt album with the rest of the band.
