Gwen Stefani is set to put herself up for auction to raise money for the Japanese Earthquake-Tsunami fund.Gwen Stefani, the American singer and No Doubt front-woman, will give fans the chance to meet her in person when she puts herself up for auction in a big to raise money for the relief effort in Japan.The 41-year-old has already donated $1 million to the 'Save the Children' emergency fund and a statement on her band's website says that fans will be given the chance meet the singer in person. Further details of the exclusive auction will be revealed next week, but it has been revealed that the highest bidder will be invited to join Stefani at a fundraiser event in Los Angeles. After joining the likes of Sandra Bullock in making a $1 million donation to the Japanese relief effort, the singer said, "I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture. The disaster in Japan is beyond heart-breaking and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years".
Gwen Stefani is currently working on No Doubt's highly anticipated sixth studio album. A recent post on the band's Twitter page read, "It's rocking in the studio tonight. Just listened back to seven of these new songs, all in a row. starting to sound albumish".
