Grigorieva: 'Cruel Gibson Has Left Me Broke'

Gibson split from Grigorieva, the mother of his seven-month-old child, earlier this year (10) and the former couple is said to be embroiled in a battle over visitation rights.

The singer reportedly won a restraining order in Los Angeles against Gibson at the beginning of the week (beg21Jun10), prompting the movie star/director's legal team to call for a modification so their client could spend time with his daughter.

Gibson is said to have filed for a restraining order against Grigorieva so she is forbidden from speaking about the couple's relationship - but the singer has vehemently denied the claims in an exclusive interview with Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper.

She tells the publication, "There is no restraining order against me, but my lawyers went to court and a judge granted a restraining order against him."

Grigorieva opens up about the break-down of their relationship, alleging she "left him" for the sake of her children - Lucia and her son from a previous relationship - despite rumours the star dumped her.

She also claims Gibson is not paying her "a penny" towards the upkeep of their daughter and she is "having to live on credit cards".

Grigorieva explains, "He is not paying me a penny. Nothing. There are so many lies being said about me. I was trying to keep things dignified and be respectful to the father of my daughter, but what he is doing is cruelty. I am having to live on credit cards and borrowed money. It is not a good situation.

"'We were together for three years. So much that is being put out there is wrong. He didn't dump me, I left him. I rescued my children and myself."
