Graham Coxon Plays Surprise Show

People in the Spread Eagle pub in Camden were treated to a surprise over the weekend when Blur guitarist Graham Coxon played an unexpected set as part of the Camden Crawl festivities.
The musician took to the stage at 17:30 BST and played a seven-song set, including THIS HOUSE, IN THE MORNING and IF YOU WANT ME, reports NME magazine.
About 100 punters watched on and as word got out about the impromptu show the pub had to close its doors to new arrivals.
However, this did not stop some fans, with the publication stating that many, including Babyshambles' drummer Adam Ficek, hung around outside to watch through the windows.
Coxon performed with a makeshift band consisting of a drummer and a bassist, which the compere referred to as The Graham Coxon Power Trio.
NME claims that the musician seemed in good spirits – referring to the watering hole as his favourite pub and paying tribute to the venue, landlord and staff.
Other performances which took place as part of the Camden Crawl included gigs by Madness and Kasabian, who closed the festivities at the Roundhouse.
THE ENEMY dropped out last week due to lead singer TOM CLARKE losing his voice.
Fans wanting to catch Graham in action can try and get tickets for the BLUR reunion gigs this summer, with several more dates being announced last week.
Coxon has promised that the shows will consist of classic BLUR hits, including THINK TANK, which was released after he left the group.
Speaking to the Sun, he said that the band has been rehearsing hard in preparation for their first show in June.
"We all know the words now - we just need to learn to play the songs a bit better." He added: "We'll play for about two hours and do all the old favourites like COUNTRY HOUSE and PARKLIFE."
