Maggie Grace - Grace Tackled Combat Training For Lockout

The Lost beauty plays the U.S. President's daughter in the upcoming sci-fi movie, which stars Guy Pearce, and she was required to film scenes on a wire for some of the shoot.

She underwent weeks of intense training to prepare her for the action shoots and took a particular liking to kickboxing.

Grace tells Canada.com, "I like action movies, and like them to have a sort of self-conscious humour to them. And I really liked that our leading man has a sarcasm and wit about him, and he is kind of persnickety on the fly.

"(The training) made me realise how much I enjoy kickboxing... it does bleed over into your personal life."
