Folk legend Gordon Lightfoot's sidekick John Stockfish has died, aged 69.
The bass player passed away from natural causes last week (20Aug12), according to a post on Lightfoot's website.
Classically trained, Stockfish joined forces with Lightfoot in the mid-1960s and performed on the folk star's classic track Sundown.
He also worked with Jim Croce, Tommy Hunter, Mel Torme and Cab Calloway.
Spencer Morrill believed he was in a relationship with the singer and that she was hiding messages for him in her songs.
Was the singer unknowingly taking counterfeit pain medication?
Roberts had left the band in 2012, due to problems with blood circulation and other health issues.
The popstar turned actress is back in the studio.
