Goldie Hawn's Career Has 'Heart And Soul'

Goldie Hawn has ''never'' been proud of her work.

The 66-year-old actress - who has starred in numerous hit films including 'Private Benjamin' and 'Death Becomes Her' - has rarely had time to reflect on her career as she has been too busy ''doing it''.

In an interview with Stylist magazine, she said: ''I've never looked at anything with pride. If I made something, it was because it had a heart and soul and a social relevance.

'''Private Benjamin' - women in relationships that aren't working; 'Protocol' - manipulation and lies in Washington. I never thought I'm going to trailblaze or prove that women can be producers.

''At the end of the day I can look back now and say, 'That was pretty cool, Goldie. Way to go girl.' But at the time I never gave it a thought. I was just too busy doing it.''

Goldie's main focus in life is her family and she ''loves'' nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren; Wilder, four, 23-month-old Bodhi, Ryder, eight, and eight-month-old Bingham.

The blonde star - who has been in a relationship with Kurt Russell for 29 years - said: ''The potential of a child is so great if one would only pay attention to that. But of course having my grandchildren has only made life better. I love them. They are fabulous.''
