Goldblum Granted Restraining Order
The Independence Day actor, 54, alleged LINDA RANSOM had visited his home over 50 times in the past few months, following an "escalating pattern of harassing, threatening, and stalking behaviour" since 2001.
Ransom said she met Goldblum at the Playhouse West acting school where he teaches in 1999 and they discussed a screenplay she was writing. She claims she visited him at his home so he could "support my efforts to complete my research and screenplay as accurate as possible".
On Wednesday (28FEB07), Los Angeles Superior Court Judge RICHARD RICO ordered Ransom to stay a minimum of 100 yards (91 metres) away from the actor, his home, workplace and vehicle.
