Glitter Considered For Early Release
Glitter, who was incarcerated after he was convicted of molesting two Vietnamese girls, is on a list of inmates at the Thu Duc detention centre who are up for release due to good behaviour.
Vietnamese officials traditionally reduce the terms of inmates with good prison records as part of their New Year celebrations, which means Giltter - real name Paul Gadd - could be a free man in May (07).
The 62-year-old rocker was convicted of committing "obscene acts with children" last March (06).
It wasn't Glitter's first child sex offence - he was convicted of possessing child pornography in his native Britain in the late 1990s, and served half of a four-month jail term.
