Glenn Frey Turns To Standards For New Album
The Heat is On hitmaker has been making the most of a "quiet year" for The Eagles by recording tracks for After Hours, his first new album in two decades, which features his renditions of beloved tunes by Nat 'King' Cole and the Orioles.
Frey tells Rolling Stone magazine that recording the album was a labour of love and he had no intention of writing and recording a load of new tunes: "If I do a Glenn Frey studio album - here's 10 more songs, my worldview and feelings about love and life and the crazy world we live in - that wouldn't mean anything for me.
