Glenn Beck - Glenn Beck To Target Jon Stewart After Fox Exit

Glenn Beck - The American radio host and political commentator Glenn Beck says he will target liberal broadcaster Jon Stewart once he leaves his post at Fox, reports Msn News. Beck will end his Fox News talk show later this year after the program recorded declining ratings and an advertiser boycott.
The often controversial and outspoken media personality will continue his weekday radio show on Wibw Radio but has outlined his plans for a future outside of Fox's vision. The 37-year-old says he's developing "a first-rate research department" which will harness the "idle brains" of former Ceos and military personnel. Beck's political views have often been the subject of jibes from fellow broadcasters including Jon Stewart, but Beck says he plans to make sure "Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert do not occupy the space of comedy alone". Despite recent speculation that he is planning to develop a rival to 'Fox', Beck insists he has no intention of going up against his former employer. However, the 38-year-old has confirmed that he plans to move out of New York in order to "build what needs to be built", saying, "If you want to change the mainstream media, get out of New York".
As well as his radio and talk shows, Glenn Beck has authored six New York Times bestselling books and is the founder and Ceo of 'Mercury Radio Arts', a multimedia production company that produces content for radio, television, publishing, the stage and the Internet.

The Deal

Captain Ahab has found his whale. The reason this inflated failed shock jock is going after Stewart is because when he laid all his chips on the table with an event that would "change life as we know it". Stewart came back and kicked his can with an event of his own. Everybody can deny it but that single event showed Beck's "juice" ain't what he thought. And it was a fact not lost on Fox. This is another quite measured re-invention of a media performer to spice up a tired act. John Stewart matching wits with Glenn Beck? Mr. Beck Central casting couldn't provide a better "unarmed man" for target practice.

If anyone saw the Daily Show clip by Jon Stewart you will agree that was some of the funniest material I have ever seen. In fact it will air again today as a rerun. Tune in and watch how Stewart captured the psycho babble and antics for this nut job Beck! LMAO!!!

I wish this article would get it's facts straight. The "advertiser's boycott" was ineffective. Beck had more than enough advertisers. The "ratings decline" was so small that it is ridiculous to mention it. Beck is as popular as ever.

So is Beck 37 as stated in the beginning of the article, or 38, as mentioned towards the end? Or did he have birthday while this was being written?

Like rest of the information in this "news article", they have Beck's age wrong. He is 47, born Feb. 10, 1964. His ratings really haven't declined much at all. You can make numbers do anything, especially when you take the single highest rated show and the single lowest rated show, yeah, that's going look like a big drop. Keep dreaming liberals, Beck isn't leaving the public square, he's re-loading. Oh! the rhetoric!

You morons that think everything in life is one big joke are the root of the problem that is facing us all right now. You call Glen Becks broadcasts physcho babble, but his statements are backed up by facts and occurances that are happening now. But you would rather listen to pea brained half ass comedians who would rather ridicule the very system that has made them very wealthy than offer something constructive to improve it. You better get your heads out of the sand because we are living in doom and gloom right now.......

I find Glenn Beck's voice to be a refreshing and independent opinion on national and world events. I am tiring of hearing the same point of view. We need some new ideas to solve our problems. Obviously the same old, same old is not working liberal news media.

Glenn Beck to be refreshing? Oh definitely an independent opinion and national and world events. "When I see a 9/11 victim family on television, or whatever, I'm just like, 'Oh shut up' I'm so sick of them beause they're always complaining." -"The Glenn Beck Program," Sept. 9, 2005. "The only [Katrina victims] we're seeing on television are the scumbags." -"The Glenn Beck Program," Sept. 9, 2005. Just 2 stuipd quotes, out of many others, that Glenn Beck has made.
