Gladys Knight Judging New Singing Talent Series
Veteran singer Gladys Knight is returning to U.S. TV as a lead judge on upcoming talent show Apollo Live.
The icon, who earlier this year (12) competed on popular series Dancing With the Stars, will head up a panel consisting of New Edition founder Michael Bivins and hip-hop star Doug E. Fresh.
The programme will be shot at New York's famed Apollo Theater, where the Midnight Train to Georgia hitmaker got her start in showbusiness. Chris Rock's comedian brother Tony will serve as host while rapper/actor Jamie Foxx is slated to executive produce.
The show is set to premiere in America later this year (12).
