Girls Aloud Plan Movie
British pop band GIRLS ALOUD are considering taking a break from the music industry to spend more time on the big screen. The girlgroup had a cameo appearance in last year's (07) St Trinian's and the singers insist the movie gave them a taste for acting. Singer Kimberley Walsh reveals they are all keen on making a picture together - but only if the right script comes along. She says, "We want it to be a Friends and Sex + The City kind of thing, all morphed into one." And bandmate Nicola Roberts agrees. She adds, "We'd really like the chance to do some more acting. We've been given a lot of dodgy scripts - they were all awful. "One was a horror film where we would all have been running through the woods in our underwear. If we did make our own film, it would be really special. "It would be a great thing to show the kids."
