Gest Is Better Off Without Minnelli
David Gest is enjoying life after marriage to Liza Minnelli by reliving his youth and hanging out with friends less than half his age.
The 54-year-old, who divorced Minnelli in 2006, has been frequenting trendy nightspots in London's Camden town and insists he is better off single.
He says, "My life is so different now. My friends are all 22 or 24. I hang out in Camden in this bar Amy Winehouse hangs out in.
"I'm like a teenager again and loving every minute of it. I could have given it all up for a happy marriage. But now - I'd really rather go for a drink, go dancing in Camden, listen to the Kaiser Chiefs."
