However, it looks as though Brand, 37, charmed mother-of-one Geri during rehearsals for the Olympics closing ceremony. The comic performed 'Pure Imagination' and The Beatles' track 'I Am The Walrus', while Geri played a medley of The Spice Girls' biggest hits.

Thus far, Geri and Russell have enjoyed a string of low-key dates including a tour of Hampton Court Palace with the former's six-year-old daughter Bluebell Madonna. Recent speculation suggested Brand dumped American socialite Isabella Brewster to be with Halliwell.
