Geri Halliwell is excited about moving to Australia and boy are we excited to see her go! Sadly it looks like she’ll only be gone for a short while – so embrace it everyone! The former Spice Girl is off to be a judge on Australia’s Got Talent, with Sky News reporting that she’s joining three other judges already announced for the series, including comic Dawn French, singer-songwriter Timomatic and TV and radio personality Kyle Sandilands – if those three can’t spot talent then we really don’t know who can.

"Shows like that are brilliant and I love the opportunity they give to normal, everyday people," she said to a local TV network, adding "Plus, I get to come to Australia." That you do Geri, that you do. Talking about how she’d handle her judging role, the former pop group member commented "I think it's unnecessary to be mean for the sake of being mean, but I do believe you have to be truthful, but with love.”

She isn’t the first former Spice Girl to take on the challenge of Australia’s Got Talent, with Melanie Brown recently having to leave the show over a contractual dispute with a rival broadcaster, Channel 7, with whom she’s on Australian X Factor with. However, Halliwell said "She actually said, 'I just want you to know I think you should do it cause you're gonna have a great time'." We agree. Just leave us alone.
