The ancient Indian practice of Yoga has proved to be the catalyst for a strong connection between Geri Halliwell and Russell Brand, and according to Ginger Spice, it's a "spiritual connection." The pair has been practising 'asana' which mainly involves sitting still. Geri is a keen yoga-fanatic, and has released two Dvd's of herself stretching and humming. Russell also attended Yoga classes in the U.S, so it was a natural starting point for the pair. "Geri has said they have a spiritual connection through yoga and they practise asana together," a friend explained. "Russell is known for action between the sheets but he is actually very good at just sitting still in silence. It is something that has acted as a bond for he and Geri as their relationship blossoms."

Fresh from his recently ratified divorce from singer Katy Perry, Russell bonded with Geri when the pair performed at the closing ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
