Gerard Butler's Stunt Injuries
Gerard Butler injured himself on 'The Bounty Hunter'.
The Scottish actor, who portrays the role of a man charged with getting his ex-wife - played by rumoured love interest Jennifer Aniston - to prison admits doing his own stunts did lead to a few problems.
He said: "I was jumping up and down, onto roofs and off of roofs and onto cars I was doing a lot of crazy stuff. That's where I picked up most of my injuries.
"This is very much an action comedy. It's a road movie. We're always trying to one-up each other. I had to jump off a car and land on the ground and we did that all day long. I picked up a lot of bruises because you're trying to do this really fast and make it look pretty impressive."
The movie is released in the UK today (17.03.10) and in the US on March 19.
Gerard is currently filming historical thriller 'Coriolanus', based on the play by William Shakespeare and directed by Ralph Fiennes.
Discussing the movie, in which he plays rebel leader Tullus Aufidius, he said: "Tullus is totally Fearless and I'm getting in shape and having fight training. War's not supposed to be fun, but I'm looking forward to making the film with Ralph."
