The 300 hunk accidentally cursed during his appearance on Live! with Kelly and Michael as he chatted about saving a child from drowning in Scotland's River Tay in 1997.

Butler stood up from his chair to act out the scene, recalling how he went from hero to zero because he was too weak to carry the youngster back to his hotel after the rescue.

He said, "We had come down this really steep hill, so I'm like, 'I'll take him to the hotel!' So I tried to take him up the hill but my legs were like jelly from the adrenaline and everybody's watching me and I couldn't make it up the hill. I said, 'Oh s**t!'"

Butler did not appear to realise he had let slip the expletive, while hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan laughed at the anecdote and proceeded with the interview.
