Gerard Butler Comes Clean On Brandi Glanville Tryst

Gerard Butler has admitted he slept with Brandi Glanville.

The 'P.S. I Love You' actor came clean about the pair having a ''bit of fun'' at a beach party last year but insists he didn't know who the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star was and was surprised when she revealed their brief fling.

He said: ''We crossed paths at a beach party and had a little bit of fun.

''You know what I said - 'Who's Brandi Glanville?' - because I didn't know her last name, didn't know she was a celebrity, didn't know she was going to run out and f***ing tell everyone about it!''

He also revealed that he confronted Brandi about telling the world about them recently, saying: ''I said one, 'I'm not very happy you did that because there are certain things you keep a little private.' And two, 'I'm sorry I said I didn't know who you were!' ''

Brandi, 40, has since claimed Gerard text her after his statement and she seized the opportunity to apologise for her indiscretion about their meeting.

She told Andy Cohen at 'Watch What happens Live!' at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas: ''We had a little texting today, and I think he's a doll and I feel bad for what I said. He is lovely and I appreciate him making it right.''

Brandi revealed she had slept with the Scottish actor last year and rated her time with the actor as ''11'' out of 10.

When quizzed about the most famous person she has been with, she replied: ''Gerard Butler''.
